A pedestrian was hit and killed by an SUV Friday night on a street near SeaWorld Orlando, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. The 22-year-old Orlando man was walking on Central Florida Parkway, approaching International Drive, just after 10:40 p.m. when when he crossed the eastbound lane and stepped in 'the direct path' of a Ford Edge, said an FHP crash report. He was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The driver and passenger of the SUV, a 41-year-old man and a 17-year-old woman, respectively, were not injured.
